The 12 Days of Fitness

Oh the holidays! Our days are filled with trying to find the perfect gifts for our kids, friends and families, wrapping said gifts, plan the perfect holiday activities to do with our little ones while also preparing for the actual BIG DAY! It’s a crazy year for all of us but especially us moms! So when you are running around trying to fit in a million things all in one day, it’s impossible not to want to indulge in all of the yummy holiday treats! I mean, peppermint mocha…yes, please!

Christmas cookies, hot chocolate, candy! It’s all hard to resist. So I’ve put together a little 12 Days of Fitness workout! This song definitely gets stuck in all of our heads this time of year, so why not make the best of it and burn a few calories! Here is a little workout for you to do at home (or anywhere fun you choose!) You an do 1 day at a time or do the full 12 days in 1 day-  my philosophy is something is better than nothing, especially in December!

So here you go, get your little ones and burn off those cookies with the 12 Days of Fitness (aka 12 Days of Xmas!) HAVE FUN!

On the first day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
A burpee and a push-up

On the second day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up

On the third day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
3 alternating lunges
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up

On the fourth day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
4 Bicep curls
3 reverse lunges
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up

On the fifth day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
5 JUMPING-JACKS!!!!
4 Bicep curls
3 reverse lunges
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up

On the sixth day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
6 Curtsy Lunges
5 JUMPING-JACKS
4 Bicep curls
3 reverse lunges
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up

On the seventh day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
7 Triceps Dipping
6 Curtsy Lunges
5 JUMPING-JACKS
4 Bicep curls
3 reverse lunges
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up

On the eighth day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
8 Calves-a-raising
7 Triceps –a-Dipping
6 Curtsy Lunges
5 JUMPING-JACKS
4 Bicep curls
3 reverse lunges
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up

On the ninth day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
9 Mountain Climbers
8 Calves-a-raising
7 Triceps –a-Dipping
6 Curtsy Lunges
5 JUMPING-JACKS
4 Bicep curls
3 reverse lunges
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up

On the tenth day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
10 Deadlifts a Rowing
9 Mountain Climbers
8 Calves-a-raising
7 Triceps –a-Dipping
6 Curtsy Lunges
5 JUMPING-JACKS
4 Bicep curls
3 reverse lunges
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up

On the eleventh day of Christmas
my instructor sent to me:
11 Plank Jackers
10 Deadlifts a Rowing
9 Mountain Climbers
8 Calves-a-raising
7 Triceps –a-Dipping
6 Curtsy Lunges
5 JUMPING-JACKS!!!!
4 Bicep curls
3 reverse lunges
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up

On the first day of Christmas

12 Crunches
11 Plank Jackers
10 Deadlifts a Rowing
9 Mountain Climbers
8 Calves-a-raising
7 Triceps –a-Dipping
6 Overhead Presses
5 JUMPING-JACKS!!!!
4 Bicep curls
3 reverse lunges
2 Jump Squats
and a burpee and a push-up
