It’s not often that you come across baby and children’s products that are both functional and stylish. When I had my first child, I was shocked at how quickly my home filled with bulky, unsightly baby necessities that surprisingly did not make my life easier. I spent hours scraping food from crevices in our high chair and washing bibs and sippy cup parts. And then I came across the Baby Björn kitchen products. Finally, items that work for both my child and myself and also look great in my home! With their sleek, modern style and bright, cheery colors, these BPA-free kitchen and feeding products are sure to please any mama.
First, let’s talk about this high chair. If I could get it in an adult size, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Its sleek, back-to-basics design makes it look less like a high chair and more like a piece of furniture you actually want to have in your home. The 3-point harness and ergonomic design of the chair allows for baby to sit in a secure and upright position, while still having the freedom to reach and move the upper extremities. The safety table is the perfect height for little hands to reach food, or toys to entertain themselves if need be. The table is also foldable and adjustable to accommodate a growing child, which allows for long-term use. Both my 7-month-old and toddler fit comfortably without seeming like they are being swallowed up or cramped.
But hands down, the best thing about it is how easy it is to wipe down- no more crevices for food to hide in! The tray adjusts and detaches for both easy in and out and cleaning and the chair’s small footprint means it never feels like it’s in the way in our kitchen or dining room. A secure lock underneath the chair prevents children from folding it in, but provides parents an efficient one-step process for easy travel. When folded, it measures a slim 10 inches, taking up little space in the trunk or storage closet. All in all I give the chair high marks for ease of cleaning, ability to travel, style, and ergonomic design. This is definitely one to add to your baby registry!
And let’s not forget the amazing line of feeding products! The Baby Björn bib is soft and flexible, so it’s comfortable and grows with my child, but sturdy enough that it can handle even the messiest of meals and still easily wipes clean! The cups are the perfect size for little ones’ hands and the wide base keeps spills to a minimum. I love the idea of getting babies used to using regular cups and the graduated markings help me keep track of how much my younger one drank. And the fact that I don’t have multiple little parts to wash is a huge bonus! The Baby Björn plates and spoons are also designed for small hands that want to learn and can be used through toddlerhood and beyond.
Overall, Baby Björn kitchen and feeding products are high quality, easy to use, and allow my kids to discover new skills while feeding themselves. I’d recommend them to any mama looking to make mealtime simple and fun.
