We understand just how much you want to freeze time and enjoy every second with your little ones. Since we can’t do that, we can do our best to capture these moments. Whether it’s your precious newborn curled up asleep or your whole family posing for your holiday card, finding the right photographer is key.
Thankfully, we’ve done the work for you. We’ve rounded up some of the best around and have them all here for you, in our Guide to Indianapolis Area Photographers to help you find the perfect photographer for your family.

My goal as a photographer is to capture genuine emotion. I don’t want to just take photos OF you and your family… I want to capture memories and connections BETWEEN you and your family: the ordinary, candid moments and the expressions of happiness and love you share. I would love the opportunity to help you preserve colorful memories so that years from now you can relive the feelings, love, cuddles, and giggles from this tiny sliver of time.

Hi-ho! I’m Leah with L. Severson Portraits. I’ve been photographing wee ones in the Indianapolis area since my own daughters were born back in…well…let’s just say “a while ago.” My photography studio is located in Westfield, Indiana on four stunning acres which include a wooden bridge, prairie grasses, a pond, weeping willow tree, and a gorgeous forest. I also have an indoor studio for rainy days, winter time, and babies too fresh to take outside just yet. I would love to chat with you about your maternity and baby photography or an updated family portraits. Cheers!
People often ask me “who is your average boudoir photography client?” I always chuckle when I hear this because in this line of work, there is no such thing as average. I photograph big women and little women, young women and older women. I photographed an 82-year-old grandma in her pink silk nightie. She wanted something sweet for her husband’s birthday. A boudoir portrait session is a great way to celebrate all kinds of things like losing some weight, getting a boob job, ditching a bad relatinoship, or saying “yes” to the dress. And if you’re looking for a special gift, I guarantee this is one he will never return!
